Hello is simply about asking.  When we say “Hello” to another person, essentially we are seeking their attention; sometimes a “Hello”
can be a cry for help, sometimes we’re just looking for a smile.  But my choreography was aimed at capturing the frustration we feel
when the person to whom we say  “Hello” just isn’t listening. When no matter how many times you say “Hello” they just don’t get it.
Choreographing “Hello” was an organic process: I like to let the music dictate how I move, rather than try and squeeze steps into a
certain amount of counts.   My choreography always starts as improvisation, and then I work to refine it into specific positions,
all while trying to keep true to the context of the music.
