Haley started her dance training with Caston's Ballet Academie in the Fall of 2003. After her 8 week program with the Joffrey Summer Workshop 2008, she was invited to attend their Year Program, but decided to finish out her Senior year in St. Louis and 4 years with Caston Chamber Ballet Company! Summer 2009 with Boston Ballet Summer Workshop. She is currently a Sophomore on Scholarship at UMKC as a Dance Major. Haley returned to St. Louis in December to perform Sugar Plum Fairy & Dew Drop in CCB's Nutcracker 2009. Performed in KCB's Nutcracker 2010.

Jocelyn Popit
English Teacher at St. Joseph Highschool new to St. Louis originally
from California. Jocelyn danced at Carousel Dance Studio in West
Hills, CA from 1992-2001 under the direction of Karen Willis and the
wonderful Carousel teachers. She was with the studio as its annual
performance grew and moved from a high school auditorium to the
Fred Kavli Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks. In 2000 she
danced with Carousel Dance Company and the Dance Center in
"Dance is Life" at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.
Jocelyn went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame in
2005 and again in 2007 with a Masters degree in Education through
ND's Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Program. After a couple
of years without so much as a barre to plié at, Jocelyn is very excited
to continue her third year with the company....and is a new Mommy
to new baby Annie in Spring 2010.

Grace Cuddihee Grace works for BJC, has her Masters from Washington University, and married to Greg Cuddihee and Stepdaughter Kendyll - who attends Caston's Ballet Academie. She started with Caston Ballet Academie in 2006, January 2007 Caston Chamber Ballet. This will be her fourth year with the company. Congratulations New Mommy & Baby Girl Isis November 4th 2009 and Step Mom to Kendyl.

MORGAN CAMERON Artist in Residence is a native of St. Louis who began her dance training at the age of six under the tutelage of Nathalie LeVine at Metropolitan Ballet and Ballet Conservatory of St. Louis. Ms. Cameron also received at schools such as The Joffrey Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, The Kirov Academy, and Harid Conservatory. She went on to dance professionally with Milwuakee Ballet and Atrek Dance Company. Sugar Plum Fairy in Caston's Nutcracker 2008.
Ms. Cameron currently performs and teaches dance around the St. Louis area, and St. Louis Dance Theater. She recently started the Jackson Piano Company with her husband and is a stay at home mom with her daughter, Isabelle and a new son Clive born Sepetember 2009.

OCTAVIO NIETO-JACOBO Artist in Residence is from Guadalajara, Mexico. His dance training includes ballet, Mexican folklore, Spanish/Flamenco, tap, jazz, ballroom, and modern. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dancing in London, as well as the American Ballet Center (Joffrey Ballet School), David Howard Studio, and the New York Conservatory of Dance, and Mexico’s National Dance Company, C.N.D./Inba under Alicia Alonso. Ocatvio has taught throughout the U.S., Mexico and has been an instructor in the Missouri Folk Arts Program.
Principal dancer and Assistant Ballet Master at St. Louis Ballet. Octavio is an instructor and choreographer in Missouri, Illinois, and Mexico.
Performances with Caston Chamber Ballet include: The Cavalier and Mr. Silberhaus in Caston's The Nutcracker and Tango at Gundaker Theater and The Touhill Performing Arts Center.

AKARI MANABE
Artist in Residence
Born in Japan she began her dance training at the age of six under Hiraki Ballet School
Yoshikazu Hiraki, and English National Ballet School under Kathryn Wade.
International Ballet Competition at Brno 1st Prize. Akari has performed professionally
with National Theatre of Prague and Brno National Theatre in the Czech Republic.
Slovak National Theatre Bratislava. Columbia Classical Ballet USA director Radenko
Pavlovich.
Some of the classics she has performed: The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Le
Corsaire 3rd Odalisque Variation, La Bayadere 3rd Shade Variation, The Sleeping

JESSICA RUHLIN
Artist in Residence
Originally from St. Louis, Jessica began her training at the Alexandra School of Ballet and
continued her studies on scholarship at Interlochen Arts Academy. During high school, she
performed and toured with the St. Louis Ballet Company and with Regional Dance
America Honors Company at the 2002 International Ballet Competition in Jackson,
Mississippi. Jessica has attended various summer programs including Boston Ballet, the
Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, and Ballet Austin, as well as studying in St.
Petersburg, Russia in 2007.
She graduated in 2008 from Butler University with a B.A. in dance pedagogy with a
double emphasis in ballet and jazz. After graduation, Jessica joined the Louisville Ballet
Company where she was privileged to work with established choreographers such as Lila
York. Adam Hougland, and Val Caniparoli. Jessica then joined Roxey Ballet Company in
New Jersey where she performed contemporary and classical ballets. Jessica lived in New
York City working as a freelance dancer and arts critic before joining Missouri Ballet
Theatre for their 2010-2011 season. She has performed locally at the Muny and Stages St.
Louis. She currently teaches for COCA and works as a choreographer and performer
around St. Louis.


Lauren Foerster
a native of St. Louis, and began her training in 1991 at St. Louis Ballet
under Ludmila Dokoudovsky, Anotoni Zalewski, and Gen Horiuchi.
While at St. Louis Ballet she toured the Midwest in performances of The
Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast.
Gaduate of Kansas State University-- Dance and Interior Design Degrees.
She performed every year in the winter and spring performances, and was
selected to represent KSU at the American College Dance Festivals. In
2004 she was chosen by guest artist Paloma Braggiato to perform
contemporary ballet and Mexican folklorico pieces. She has also been
invited to perform The Nutcracker alongside the United States Army 1st
Infantry Division band for returning soldiers of Fort Riley and Military
families.
This is her third season with Caston Chamber Ballet.
